Part 2 breakdown
So from below we know Jordan is gonna try to explode up to a base. Given Hughes stance and position of advantage he's gonna likely want to clear and reset. That brings us to ...
Shot 4 Jordan is attempting to rebuild his base. He's bailed on the hold of Hughes hamstring, but Cody has locked his right arm down on an overhook. This prevents Jordan from retreating back wards and forces him to go up and rotate. At the same time Hughes is threading the defensive underhook deeper into the body, for a classic over under. Jordan is starting to feel what's coming but it's way to late. Also check out the power out of Hughes. With his right knee grounded, and his left leg exploding, Jordan simply has no leverage.
So in shot 5, Hughes has both hooks in deep, and Jordan has not yet gotten off his left knee. The can only pivot helplessly as Hughes uses the momentum from the original shot plus his superior position to finish. What you can't see is that Hughes is also improving that overhook...
So in shot 6 you can see how deep the right fist of Hughes is to tighten the throw.
Shot 7 also captures the hold. Unlike Moore who took the underhook and ran it onto the back Hughes could still seal this tighter looking for the pin, but he holds it well.
Great sequence for Cody
