...I'd look at Plan G. After you pay the Part B deductible ($198) it will cover everything else that Medicare doesn't and the premiums rise much less per year since the annual rise in the deductible isn't part of the equation. Just find the plan that works for you and then shop price , since the plans are exactly the same from one company to another. Medicare Advantage Plans...you're on your own , since I have no experience with them. From what I do know , they take care of the while Part B and D in one package. I'd suggest an independent agent/ consultant to walk you thru the process , since they have ready access to the pricing , which requires some effort when doing it on your own. Good luck and me start early. BTW...choose wisely on the Part B , because 1st shot is the only time your guaranteed no pre-existing conditions restrictions.
