My aunt and uncle took me to see a theatrical rerelease in the mid 80's. As far as I know it has never seen the light of day since then. As far as the messages basically apologizing for culturally insensitive content, they did that on the DVD releases of the animated shorts as well. It shouldn't surprise anyone that Disney has content that would be deemed culturally insensitive or racist. They've been creating content for over 90 years. IMO, you put it out, slap the disclaimer before it if you want. Hiding your past doesn't change it. Warner Bros has some questionable animated shorts as well.
