The Tesla's value proposition would be the Tesla styling, etc, but it seems very, very competitive with some F150 variants, even in price. It's really hard to spec out F150's since there must be 1,000 different variations. But it seems very comparable in price and specs to an F150 (https://www.ford.com/trucks/f150/2019/models/f150-xl/).

6.5' vs 6.5' bed (again a ton of options for the F150)
Both have options from around 7000 up to around 14k
6 vs 6 passengers
3,500 lb vs 2-3.2k lb payload

I priced out an F150 XL with a similar cab and same 6.5' bed
