You can type a three paragraph screed about how offended (ironic huh) you are but you can't actually respond to the points that are being made? Excuse me if I don't believe your outrage to be genuine. A "barrage of insults"? You cannot be serious. The fact that you try to prevent me from responding by claiming I'm harassing you (which is no more true than your "fraction few" claim) is completely absurd. I'm no more harassing you by responding than you are harassing me by responding. It's akin to me acting like you called me a weasel just now.

I'll reset my point for you one more time. I take issue with people trying to use phrases like "everyone agrees with me" or "most people think" or in your case "a fractional few" when voicing their opinions. It doesn't matter what the topic is. I've said as much on the football boards when people try to say things like "Most VT fans want Fuente fired". It's a lazy, cheap attempt to give a personal opinion more credibility. Note that I'm not saying you are lazy and cheap (lest you think I'm insulting you again). I'm saying your argument and point in this topic is. You could have simply conceded that no you don't really have any idea how many people believe what. Instead you've replied and replied while not saying much of anything.

I've never once claimed to be morally or intellectually superior. In fact I've said I don't know the numbers of who believes what. I've said I don't know the motivations behind the cadets in question. It's fine to admit you don't know something. The bottom line here is that you made a claim. I've asked you to back up that claim and you've been unable or unwilling to so most likely because the claim is not able to be proven (which was my whole point).
