Hooray for EU regulators !!!! Got compensated $664 per passenger for a


delayed flight out of LHR. EU regulations state that any flight operating within an EU member country will owe passengers compensation if a flight is delayed for reasons tied to the carrier being at fault more than 3 hours. Our plane had a technical malfunction. Well we sat on the tarmac for 3.5 hours, and one of my brit cousins pointed me to the regulation. I filed a grievance with United, cited the regulation, they agreed that it is a valid claim, and I got the Checks today for all three of us. Totaling about $1900! Woot Woot !!!
