Met a young Chinese man this morning who proffered the notion


that the coronavirus was manufactured in a Chinese-government laboratory. It somehow was not properly controlled and “got out “. To hide this, the cover story is to use the wet market food culture as a scapegoat.

His extended family has not been affected by the contagion due to their distance from the Wuhan epicenter, but in some neighborhoods where his family lives they have “block quarantines”, i.e., you can only come and go from that neighborhood if you live there.

I don’t know what this man knows or not or whether he has anti-government conspiracy theories.
