BC’s return is not guaranteed. Sounds like a fluid situation.

Interpreting Coach’s comments about next season, it seems like Brady will start at 157 assuming good health. Mekhi will most likely return at 165. Coach mentioned that all of the new recruits coming in, we would most likely see a starter at 174. Strategically, it sounds like the coaches view Mekhi’s best weight for next year is at 165. This would prevent Brady and BC from being in the same starting lineup. Coach in November also said he believes Brady is 157 throughout his college career meaning BC would need to bump up to 165 only if Mekhi were to go 174.

Coach is bullish on Sam Latona, so he has a great shot at starting 125.

The next part is me speculating and not Coach’s comments. Throw in Gerardi (133/141) and maybe Myers (133), competition next year will be tough at the lower weights next season even if Mitch were to redshirt. Prata (and BC) will likely need to go elsewhere for a starting spot.
