I have eaten mahi mahi/dolphin, swordfish, tuna, sea bass

and a few other common saltwater before. I can't say I have a favorite per se because I love all kinds of sea food. Depending on my situation at the time, I probably would prefer to eat 1-2 meals of whatever I caught and let the captain/crew do whatever they want with the rest. However, if cooking it (or having someone else cook it) isn't an option for me, then I probably would give it all to the captain/crew. I hate to see good freshwater or saltwater food go to waste.

I have only been deep sea fishing once before (see my other posts in this thread for details), but I have done multiple deep water tours (i.e. San Fran) in very choppy waters so I don't think sea sickness is an issue for me.

I don't necessarily have anything firm planned in the near future. However, I do have a sports bucket list and 1 of things on it is to "battle" a large saltwater fish. I guess you can say I am gathering info on other people's experiences to help give me an idea which body of water I would like my first experience to be in.
