"Regular" annual flu in the US spreads just as much, if not more. Each day
the number of new cases is reported - as in the Italian count - as though it's a California or Australian wildfire. 67 new cases, while serious, is not a panic button. In populations of hundreds of thousands of Italians, six have died. Be realistic - this is not a widespread epidemic in Northern Italy. Yes, they should take steps to control the spread and quarantine where needed, but it's ridiculous to take the figures from Borrelli and turn it into something it's not.
