I had multiple tech stocks that got crushed when the tech boom exploded


Thankfully most of my money was invested in mutual funds, where they have people who watch the market 24/7, and have a lot more information than any individual investor. Those have taken hits, but always rebounded.

The old white haired man at Fidelity once said that stocks are the only vehicle you can have that will beat inflation. I took that to heart, so I've stayed mostly "stock heavy." I'm sure I've taken a beating over this Corona scare, but I know it will bounce back quickly once that's behind us.
