To them, Charlotte is a nicer place to play in early March than Blacksburg. Probably had an easier flight too. A wIn-win for Syracuse. I wonder if Tech is flying out of Charlotte to Providence tonight? They have 2 games this week at Brown and at BC. I think that they're on spring break this week.

Virginia Tech is a very physical team. They have to in order to compete with all the ACC teams with superior talent. It seems to be a common theme among Tech athletics. Elon played a physical game vs. Tech earlier in the season because they had less talent than Tech.
