it was all of the starters who were key to our success and Trinity Baptiste not just one. Kitley came on as the season progressed and got better every game, but Sheppard and Mabrey along with Cole carried us a lot as well. Rivers was a magnet to the ball and fit in perfectly. Without one of them it would have been a disaster. Normally when one wasn't clicking another was and that saved us a lot. Kitley is a beast but she has to have guards to get her the ball. Kitley if she never transfers will be the best post player to come out of Virginia Tech in my opinion. Unexperienced guards are a recipe for disaster, especially in a conference like the ACC. Cole and Mabrey were the vocal leaders of the team, which will need to be replaced probably by Sheppard. I am just not sure it is Sheppard's personality type to take that role, which is not a fault at all just some people are not made for that. Will be interesting to see who the leaders are next year or if we will have one. I have a feeling team chemistry will not be as good with all the new pieces. There will be a lot of figuring out to do and it will take experience to do it.

On another note we will have two Kings. That will get confusing. I have heard great things about Calhoun. Don't know much about the others.
