IMO yes he is an upgrade.


1 - he is a true freshman this year
2 - wrestlestat has him ranked #15 - Prata #32
3 - he went 20-2 unattached against very good competition. Only two losses were 3-4 early to #59 Storm and then lost a close one 4-6 to #2 Piccininni later in the season. He also beat #6 Camacho soundly whom Prata could not get through.

I believe Latona has all the tools to very possibly AA next year at 125# in hi rs-Freshman year.
