Jack Mueller’s freshman year. This one brings back bad memories and is probably the single most frustrating NCAA quarterfinal I’ve ever watched. I grew up wrestling with Joey in youth leagues and Thunder/Predator in the Richmond area before losing touch with him after he moved to Poquoson and then CBurg. That whole bracket fell apart Lizak made the semis on his side and Cruz ultimately upset Gilman and I’m just yelling at my screen saying don’t choose bottom whatever do don’t go down and the rest is history.
