And when you need to make a claim, you'll LOVE their customer service. More

2 Amica stories.

1) When I first left Allstate (my parents insurance company at the time) and switched to Amica, NY rules required that I go to the Allstate agent and show him I had another car policy. He asked "Who did you switch to?" I answered "Amica". He said "They're the best company going in America right now." So this was the Allstate agent talking up his competition.

2) I got a call about 2 years ago, maybe less, from a company offering to lower my home and auto insurance. I figured I'd give them a listen, since I had been doing some price checking. About 2 minutes into the conversation, they asked "Who is your current insurance provider?" I answered "Amica." They said "Oh, I'll never beat them. Thank you for your time." and we were done.
