A couple of my favorites

I think the key to any drink recipe is fresh ingredients.
Tom Collins
Add to highball glass filled with ice
1.5oz Gin
1 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
0.5 to 0.75 oz simple syrup.
Club soda to fill.
marachino cherry

Mai Tai
2 oz Rum - I like Appleton Estates rare blend
0.5 oz Curacao
1 oz fresh lime juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
0.25 oz orgeat
Shake and strain into old fashioned glass filled with crushed ice.
Garnish with fresh mint twig

Orgeat is the only ingredient that's maybe tough to find but you can make your own as well.
