One way grocery store isles

So today, I need to go about a quarter of the way down an isle with nobody in it, but I'm on the "do not enter" end so, I have to go to the next and pass 3 couples in order to come 3/4 the way back up the other isle to get to what I need.

I just don't see any logic in these one way isles. I only hit the isles I need to and seem to always be on the wrong end so I have to pass people in an isle I wouldn't even go down to get back up the isle I need.

This was not thought out and some stores are policing it and some don't seem to care.
