If you liked the books, I think they've aged pretty well - worth re-read
I was a huge Clancy fan through the first several Jack Ryan books, then I felt like he got a little full of himself and just started cranking out dribble.
I've gone back and reread his early books, and remembered how much I enjoyed them. Here's the ones I read, in order of publishing. It had been 25+ years since I read some of these.
Hunt for Red October
Red Storm Rising
Patriot Games
Cardinal of the Kremlin
Clear and Present Danger
Sum of All fears
Without Remorse
( I feel like they dropped in quality after these, but Executive Orders is worth a re-read for sure, considering it deals with a national pandemic caused by a biological weapon and includes many of the conversations we're having these days)
