Our biased world can tell the story. After a few years, when hopefully this is all behind us by whatever means, vaccine or herd immunity, it should be important to have accurate numbers for the total infection rate, death rate, for me there is a difference of dying from C19 and dying with C19 although I’m not sure that stat will ever be agreed upon.
I know last year on average 7,500 Americans died per day. Will that number be different for the year 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024? You would have to try to account for any total population changes.
I expect we’ll see a slight spike this year and probably a dip in the following years. Although it may not even be enough to move the needle.
