Well...there is this one too...

Plugged this in to '07 Suburban. First start up--engine cranked for several seconds more than normal. Check Engine light came on. Stabilitrak warning came on. Transmission shifted hard into 2nd gear. Turned vehicle off several times but problem kept repeating. But the good news- It did keep the engine from shifting into V4 mode. Drove a couple miles before removing.

Now I'm debating whether to return this to Amazon or send to Range to be re-flashed. They will do so for no cost - buyer only pays shipping, even on products bought from unauthorized sellers. Just a warning - there are not authorized sellers on Amazon or Ebay. Obviously this product is not this terrible for everyone, but that isnt helping me right now...

So yeah, I paid $140 for junk.

I had a 2001 Tahoe and loved it. I don't mind this '07 Sub, but it isn't a solid as my '01. It looks tougher with the Z71 package (& I recently raised it 3" with a Rough Country lift and new wheels/tire vs replacing OEM suspension parts that wore out.) I have about 134,000 on it but mostly highway miles. I would love to get a local recommendation on this tool as I do see the drop in oil that some report in the comments.
