out of bed that morning and said I am going to murder some random black dude today? I doubt that. What the cop did was stupid and horrible decisions that led to the guys death. Unless you die of some illness most everyone dies from their own or someone elses stupid decisions. The cop in MN was not intending to kill the guy, my guess is adrenaline and the arrest going so sideways is what hyped him up. I also agree that that person should never have been a cop. But keep in mind we don't pay cops a ton and we ask them to put their life on the line every day of their job, just ask the black cop in oakland that was killed by protestors over the weekend.

So we probably don't get the best and brightest as cops due to the job requirements and the pay. But we need cops unless you plan to arm yourself and protect your family yourself.
