Been a couple weeks, attempted hair cut #2. Not bad. Not grate but not bad. First one was a four, this might be a four +, dare I say a five? (ten point scale but even the best barber in the world isn't going to make me a nine or ten) Sorta fun because I knew I could do better, a project. Not really close to where I'd get rid of the barber yet (but does it really matter?) plus I would feel kinda guilty, feel like I need to spread a little money around these days. Next time pays off my new hair clippers though.

Planted some basil and low and behold it's popping up in 4-5 days. Years past I kinda realized it won't get going until it gets warm/hot w/plenty of rain so this year I just waited til late May and/or June and confirmed that. Cool.

I have a project to fix the ramp at my dad's house but the first problem was getting the materials so I lay on the sofa for hours figuring this out, one scheme was to simply take some sawhorses and a circular saw and just cut them down in the parking lot so they'd fit. but I figured I could get eight (I bought one too many) boards in my mid-sized SUV and deal with them at home. Some unknowns there, but went and did it. Heavy suckers, still pretty wet, left them on the deck to dry out (and shrink?) some. Slept well Saturday night after loading and unloading them. Pleased with myself for motivating. Go over on Tuesdays and get a little bit done each week. I do feel like I set some record for moving stuff in a CX5 but I'm sure there's some guy somewhere who got a refrigerator into one.

Still got one bike in the shop, been a month. Told ya this would be boring, but you went ahead and read it anyway.
