Zuckerberg ain't going to do it, it would kill his business model which is leveraging computing power, all that talk about fake news etc. would cost him a bundle to have humans go through it and truly weed it out, why he cheats out and donates money to supposed news watchdog organizations. See? There, I've dealt with it.

Likewise, guys like Bezos ain't doing it either, eg get free reviews from all of you then have others vote on the usefulness of those reviews, all automated so he doesn't pay a dime for reviewers you the purchaser provide the labor for free! And when there's a company selling fake goods, it's not his problem, he's just providing a platform.

Yeah, I'm kinda generalizing to the internet but most apps etc. try to be like those gas stations that have one guy running the who thing they are not interested in managing the discourse they are so proud to have brought to us. But back to TSL, they've put a hell of a lot more effort in managing that problem than anything else I've seen out there.

I dropped facebook during the last election. I still like it for some things, eg, following bands and groups like "mushroom identification" (might be a joke in there somewhere) but only deal with a few friends. true, people that know me can't find me w/o knowing my fake name. sobeit.
