Not trying to be your analyst but from my own experience I've often


wondered if losing interest isn't to some degree a part of aging. If that is happening with you, as it appears to be with me, the controversies, professionalizing the college game, politics, money and me first attitudes, disappointments etc might hasten this transition.

Of course always a Hokie, and I want nothing but good things for my school. I am sure you do as well. And while losses still sting and wins bring exhilaration, I am experiencing a decline in how emotionally wrapped up in it I find myself. Maybe I am realizing the years remaining are too few and there are other things to engage in that add joy and value to life more so than another day of sports tv time.

That said I would be okay with a second coming of our 1999 season. I might find myself right back in it with both hands and feet and you can throw all that psychological crap I just spewed forth out the window. Lol.
