I saw where Regal plans to reopen July 10th. We have Regal Unlimited and

they suspended the subscription while they were closed. Apparently upon opening they're going to give every RU subscriber a free month. They said they would be following state guidelines regarding masks and capacity. I don't see any way someone will wear a mask for an entire 2 hour movie. Is there going to be a Regal employee sitting in the theater watching people to make sure they don't remove their masks? Given what we know about the virus and the spread I think a movie theater is probably the last place I'd want to go. With or without masks you're still looking at an enclosed space with strangers with little airflow for an extended period of time.

Since you book through the app we might wait and see if there's a show time of a movie that's been out for awhile that doesn't have anyone else in it but otherwise I can't see us going any time soon. Not Regal's fault by any means and I think the free month to Unlimited subscribers is a nice move. Luckily we've already gotten our money's worth out of the year subscription so even if we don't go again we'll still come out ahead.
