Other than gaming ...


...if you have multiple people in your home expected to be streaming lots of video (including through your TV, if that's how it works for you) all at the same time, you could run into bottlenecks at 100Mbps.

If not, it should be plenty. Could you try it out for a month or two and upgrade later if needed?
