It has a familiar look to it...


One day at work in the Dripping Springs Mountains I was checking some old mine adits. The 79 Mine.

I had parked my truck and was standing at the front of my truck with my map spread out and also looking at aerial photos of the area. I heard this rap, rap sound at the end of my steel-toed boots. I looked down and there was Mojave Jake striking my boot. I had run over him and he was pinned under the tire. I said well hellfar...got back in the truck and backed off of him. He was OK, I hadn't skidded over him and he slithered down over the hill. He let me know he was pissed though.
