Teaching daughter to drive a stickshift. Would this be helpful?

After navigating the month-long hot mess that is the Virginia DMV, finally got her a learner's permit. So now begins the task of teaching her not only to drive, but to drive a stickshift. Every vehicle we've got is a stick, so those are the only choices.

Found this car magnet. Would it actually be helpful until she gets proficient, or would it just be an invitation to the random few jerks out there who would crowd your rear bumper out of spite?
