I had a reverse experience

16 years ago, early Nov, I landed in Phoenix around dusk and it was low 80's. Coming from the northeast, that was beautiful. Picked up the rental car and drove to Flagstaff, and when we pulled into the hotel parking lot around 11, it was snowing. Woke up to about 3" of fresh powder before heading to the south rim.
