Lawyers won't see it that way
and we all know it. One death that is traced back to NCAA football would do irreparable harm across the board, and every ambulance chaser from here to Timbuktoo would be trying to get on that gravy train.
Forget the physical risks. It is the potential financial ones that even outweigh the financial ones pressuring them to play. Signing waivers would not be worth the paper they were written on, and the Universities and the NCAA would be held responsible. I just don't see it happening.
