Meh....original was much better.

Too jumpy and like so many movies now, more focused on the special effects than the story. IMO they tried to cover too much ground (or ocean in this case) and had to leave out huge storylines that are pretty critical to the overall story, like suddenly Lex is on fire, but nothing about how that happened..

Doolittle line was great addition, but left you completely flat because there was so little of it.

Almost seems like they were planning mini-series and cut it to be a movie.
