Hey, Arvid's son here chiming in to say that everything BB Hokie has said is correct. Arvid has a long resume of extreme events. This year his plan was to double-cross Canada in 30 days, but because of Covid he shifted to attempting the GWR for Most KM in a month (30 days).

We only found out about the Strava challenges (Trek and Grand Tour) today, so I realize that his stats coming out of the blue would be a surprise. The timing of his ride (July 1-30) was completely coincidental. It seems strange to rocket ride to the top of the leaderboard, but if he sets a GWR then it would only be logical that he'd finish the month in 1st.

I will come back to this board in a day or two, so feel free to respond with any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Please note that, if he breaks the record, we will be having a finish ceremony livestreamed on his Facebook page on July 30th, 7pm Central Time.

Also, for reference, he's riding closer to 16 hours a day. He starts at 5am and finishes around 9-10pm.
