VCU issued a statement saying a dozen buildings were broken into,

windows and furniture smashed, $100k in damage. Other businesses with nothing to do with policing or any protest topic like a cake store were broken into....dump truck set on fire, etc. It was right wingers, Boogaloo, pretending to be BLM, and they circulated a fake BLM flyer in advance. BLM turned it over to authorities and 200 additional state troopers were brought in to help contain things. 757 BLM which is a more violent leftist group, not actually part of the larger BLM as I understand it, was also here. There is a re-election strategy to sow chaos in cities to make that the case that things are out of control and that law and order are desperately needed.
