A related potential danger to The Covid I wasn't aware of till now . . .
Since most hand sanitizer is alcohol-based, it is flammable. Therefore, keeping it in a car during hot weather can expose it to the sun, which could potentially cause it to combust. (LINK)
-(Although I have always kept, and used, a 2 oz. container of Purell in my vehicle for over 10 years now with no problem. I think I'll be fine.)
