Alright boys, keep the rooting and prayers coming, I'm headed to Boston for 8 weeks of proton radiation. The pathology on the tumor that was attached to my heart showed it was a really rare form of fibro sarcoma (~100 cases documented) and even rarer on the heart (~25 cases documented). The plethora of ologists have decreed Boston and Mass General is the place for me, so we're making a family adventure of it (freedom trail, taking the munchkins to see a moose in Maine, little lobster stands, Lake Winnipesaukee, My Washington, etc). I still think I'm on a good path and until someone proves me wrong I'm sticking to believing in the best and I'll be fine. Right now, the biggest concern is down the road from radiation side effects (likely need a stint in my coranary artery).
