In the world of wrestling...

I don't think getting a schollie is necessarily a primary driver for some athletes. At least, not like football where schollies can be given for 1st, 2nd and most 3rd team guys (Which I find ridiculous BTW). I think a lot of wrestler/families are looking for a good school too and they may just want to get on the mat....some might get some merit assistance as well to augment (although VT is not really known for its generosity in this regard).

A lot of the wrestlers probably get 1/4 or 1/2 schollies and maybe not every year either....just not sure this is a big deal maker/breaker in the end. I am sure it is a factor, just not sure how much.
