What a bizarre argument


1) no professional league has a more exclusive playoff than mlb.
2) the nats were far from "middling". they won 93 games in the toughest division in mlb. thats third best in the nl.
3) getting hot at the right time means they were hot over the last 5 months of the season when they had the best record in baseball.
