Lounge Lawyers, a question: What is the difference between a player

contracting the flu, developing complications and having long-term effects from that

vs.

a player contracting COVID-19, developing complications and having long-term effects from that?

I keep seeing it's a liability issue, and I understand that this is a dangerous virus, albeit more towards the unhealthy, older, and pre-existing conditions crowd, which college athletes usually aren't, but I don't understand the difference of the 2 above scenarios, at least, in a court of law.
