I have read it. Still have it around the house somewhere.


Good book in Iowa wrestling in general, but I don’t think it was very accurate around the Brands situation with VT. No mention of the mysterious letter the wrestlers and their parents claimed to have to allow them to transfer at any time. Of course non of those letters ever surfaced but the parents claimed they had them.

Goo background on the culture of Iowa high school wrestling but if the author was going to dig into the VT situation he could have dug a bit deeper in my opinion and been a bit more balanced.
