SHAK was good for me.


I bought around $39 in 2017, sold at $59 little over a year later. Should have held on longer, but certainly can't complain. Should have bought again this year when it dropped below $40 again, but COVID / NYC scared me off. I've always viewed it as primarily a NYC franchise/business. But when 1 in 16 American live in the NYC metro area, that's OK.

I actually prefer their burgers to 5 guys because of their Shake Sauce and the mixture of different beef cuts in the buger (I think it's like 1/3 beef rib cut). I like the crinkle-cut fries compared to 5 Guys greasy fries too.

Also, most Shake Shack locations serve alcoholic beverages.
