WHO advises to keep putting off routine dental cleanings


The WHO says routine dental procedures should be put on hold, because dentists "work in close proximity to patients' faces, for a prolonged period of time."

That means they're frequently exposed to saliva and blood and are at high risk of being infected with coronavirus or passing it to their patients.
