"Why would ___ do ___?" is bad logic

People do stupid stuff all. the. time. Cops are people. They are not immune.

I've no idea what was in the car, what was being said, or what happened leading up to this video. Everyone involved deserves the presumption of innocence.

But trying to fill in the gaps by assuming any particular person is behaving in the most intelligent and rational manner that they should be, is setting yourself up to be wrong.
