It's not worth countersuing.

The key is what windows did they examine and whether the nicked picture window was examined at the time. It's possible that it was already damaged before the lawn work or that the piece came loose while cleaning the window, the latter implying why they missed the damage during the inspection.

Someone will have to provide photographs of the windows and other information.

Use common sense.
