I think we’ve all heard people wondering if they’ve had it. You just don’t
Know w/o the test, especially considering many people are asymptomatic.
Obviously, the virus kills some people but a year ago I would never have thought the whole world would be so concerned about a virus that has killed so few people if you are looking at the percentage of people it has killed. Yesterday we hit 200,000 deaths in the USA & of course that’s terrible yet it is also only .06% of the population.
If we had all been asked a year ago what percentage of people would have to die to make you really afraid, I think most people would have estimated something around 2-4% of the population. Heck, plenty of people would’ve said it would have to be 5-10% before they’d be worried. Right now, not even 1/10th of 1% of the USA’s population has died from COVID-19. I doubt very many would have guessed a number that low would’ve generated this much concern.
