Mario Party to play with family, you can only play with the joycons. The Pro Controller is great. I had one, but one of the analog sticks started to drift, which made it pretty useless. Hard to play when the onscreen character randomly starts moving down. Need to get another one.

Games worth getting IMO: Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Breath of the Wild, 3D All Stars. Odyssey and Breath of the Wild will have you playing for a while. 3D All Stars is a limited release, which means after March of next year, you won't be able to buy those games together like that (at least that's what Nintendo says). I'd play that first though. Playing Odyssey with it's awesome control scheme makes going back and playing Mario 64 torture. I really wish they had tweaked the control scheme a little with that game to make use of both analog sticks more effectively. Breath of the Wild is a masterpiece, and I'm not a huge Legend of Zelda fan.
