I bought the new Fu Schnickens album where Shaq rapped for $19


That was eye opening. The album sucked and I blew what little money I had on it.

I wasnt allowed to use Columbia House because it was a scam, so really I didn't buy CDs until I had really developed a musical taste around high school. Then I could drive myself to head shops to get what I wanted. Before that I just got CDs as Christmas and birthday presents from an aunt. She got me Pearl Jam Vitalogy, Pink Floyd Pulse, B52s B52s, U2 Achtung Baby, Green Jello (which pissed off my parents), stuff like that. In fact I think they made her stop giving me albums after they heard Green Jello. It was either that or Ugly Kid Joe
