I was at that show! Huge fan, and was devastated. Elvis wanted no part of


being there, and his performance absolutely sucked. After thinking about it...Blacksburg in '81 wouldn't have been something I would have been pleased about my agent booking if I were he. I don't think it even sold out? But still...I was super disappointed. Got a T shirt, though - that music was cutting edge then and I felt pretty hip wearing it, haha. Can't imagine seeing Little Feat in that tiny place, (which I think was the year before I enrolled) like @ Brown Water saw.
