Don't consider this cancel culture.

cancel culture is when you get fired or silenced because of your views, worse, things you said years ago.

At no point in history was it every appropriate to jerk off in a meeting with other people. He absolutely should be fired.

The reason he is supported is that the absurd whatever my team does is OK, whatever your team does is the worst thing anyone ever did. Any reasonable person would demand his firing.
