Yep. I recently held a set of actual "blueprints". It was very cool.


I took four years of technical drafting in high school and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hand drafting may be slow, but it makes you think about every single detail that gets put into the page. If there's one thing I hate about computer drafting, it's that it encourages laziness and/or shortcuts that creat confusion. I'm constantly seeing drawing notes that were obviously copied/pasted from another set of plans and don't apply at all to the project in question.
